Labor Day is an opportunity to give back through service, and in 2024, we focused our efforts on The Church of God of Prophecy Basic School. Our team came together to refurbish the school, transforming classrooms with fresh paint, enhancing the playground, and improving the overall environment.
Although school was not in session, several teachers, parents, and children joined us throughout the day. Their presence highlighted the shared dedication to improving the learning environment. Collaborating with them allowed us to understand firsthand how these improvements would positively impact the children’s daily experiences.
This project was more than a day of physical work—it was about fostering connections and creating a brighter, more welcoming space where young minds can grow. We remain committed to supporting community institutions through meaningful, hands-on initiatives like these.
In honour of Blind Awareness Month last October, Dr Terri-Karelle Reid, a media and communications practioner, partnered with the Digicel Foundation to launch a campaign aimed at enhancing the educational opportunities for blind and visually impaired students in Jamaica.
The campaign focuses on addressing the critical shortage of Braille machines at the Salvation Army School for the Blind – Jamaica’s sole school for blind and visually impaired students.

In February 2024, our team participated in Jamaica’s largest charity road race, the Sagicor Sigma Run. This event raised vital funds for healthcare and community programs, and we were proud to support such a worthy cause.

In November 2024, we visited Chisholm Basic School, where we donated essential supplies and organized engaging activities like face painting and popcorn treats. This day was filled with joy, connection, and a shared sense of community spirit.
